Axel Springer Presents First Diversity & Inclusion Report Comprehensive review benchmarking implementation of Axel Springer’s D&I strategy on Group-level and across largest business units Axel Springer today released its first groupwide Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Report , documenting the company’s sustained journey towards embedding D&I into its core operations. D&I is part of the ESG initiatives led by Executive Board member Niddal Salah-Eldin. The report highlights the advancements since Axel Springer introduced a holistic D&I strategy in 2022 to better streamline its commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment across the Group, while also encouraging initiatives of individual business units. Read the report here Key initiatives on a Group level include: Incorporating D&I criteria in the performance assessments of top executives. Performing comprehensive unconscious bias trainings and initiatives aimed at reducing bias in recruitment, development, and promotion processes. Ensuring that all business units align with Axel Springer’s goal of achieving gender-balanced leadership in top managerial positions and the aim to significantly enhance the diversity of top executives beyond gender by 2026. Analyzing and further mitigating the gender pay gap within individual units. Fostering the global collaboration of D&I representatives across units, sharing knowledge and adapting to cultural nuances and similarities in D&I practices. The establishment of a global Employee Resource Group (ERG) program, enhancing the collaboration among local ERGs within the Group’s network. This website gives you multiple participation options.
